Every artists dream life
  • 1 There’s no school for popular music.

What’s we mean is simply that, you cannot study to be a pop superstar or Kwaito superstar or Famous house Dj ,there are some cause on the deejaying but still people who run the game bypassed school .there is no barrier of entry but in the big leagues there is .Money you need to keep investing month after month ,this point make the playing flat which really makes the game fair ,that why they say hard work beat the talent if the talent doesn’t work hard enough..You get to learn more than what you would have learned in school. there are music courses but those artists maybe engineers streets smart is found on the streets and can beat the few months you studied .Here what’s we suggest in every hood there’s a guy that doing better than the most in music and he manages himself, ask him politely without demand and show you respect his time few questions that you lack about the industry then get a little bit of mentorship or stick to this channel.

  • 2 You think someone is closing doors for you.

We didn’t want to start with the blame game ,but you look at people who are sacrificing all they have to make their music work and say they’re gate keepers while you not doing anything about your verses ,you don’t buy quality beats , you don’t book a better studio, you don’t want to pay for mastering which is a specialized thing within the music only less than 5 people can do it well in Dbn  and Jhb especially in Dbn .If those people can try to give you a hand ask yourself this are you ready? Do you have something worth presenting? So all we want from people who follow our channel is simply stop looking outside but look inside them. The getting a deal myth artists should stop waiting for recording deals that an old mentality DYI nowadays if you get a deal you need to be good and that deal should balance or be in your favor or you won’t enjoy your life worried about money .Little disclaimer we don’t know anything about deals we just encourage artists about what’s we know being independent, yes its takes time and a bit of paperwork but it’s something we have done and you can do it.

A Song Made in 2015 and release in 2030 is still valuable if it was kept well

  • 3 Music Artists they respect more their producer who is as naïve.

You get a deal from underground producer and now you have a hope that things will work out .No that is really the beginning unless that producer has build big artists you are starting from the bottom take charge and let your producer focus on the production, do all of the above as we asked you and don’t count on the manager that has no previous artists he managed that you look up too. When we started out Makhula kept on changing the producers and mine was So Long the music work ended up coming 2nd with ULwaz z and So Long because friendship became a priority and we started to care about each other more than our music work that what’s lead to the opening of Spliff Entertainment it’s hard to fight with your friend of music coz someone is getting lazy and you can see the lesson there if you cannot balance the two something must change or you won’t be efficient and that will delay your progress.

  • 4 They think its hard

If in your mind it’s hard to do something even before you start it, you not going to do it. Dismiss the fact that it’s hard to open a company, it’s hard to make a beat, it’s hard to or I don’t have time to go to Samro. You see I had friends that its took them years to sort out free Samro, Samro built the internet portal still they don’t do it, but we did hang out, and drink and so on we had time for that .You see we can work together but if you don’t play your part right and that wont effect me than there is nothing I can do. Loll Other thing I found fascinating news from one of my friend and yourl think all my friends are so unique loll he says my Samro has been blocked because I don’t submit any songs and I was like but bro you always do songs .So at some point we differ namajita some of us believe this is one life we rather focus on one thing and make it work ,others say I want it all well I prefer the 1st and that music it’s should give me all or I’m not looking forward to anything else that is what’s I know to be focus. Can you comment below what’s do you prefer? Want it all now or fix your career 1st?

  • 5 They know they will never make it.

You see ULwaz No Makhula both met at DUT, Durban University of Technology and became the best friends in 2009, Makhula Graduated and ULwaz didn’t. ULwaz in his second year he knew he won’t make it in IT Information Technology and luckily personal challenges came in to rescue him, He was terrible in Coding bugs after bugs by then he was already hooked on music, He would be putting posters in the faculties and using face book to push as what’s he still does today and miss some lectures he’s mind was all over the place, passed some modules though. So in music there are people like ULwaz in IT they know they not going to make it but anyway because they already in there is not going back. We cannot leave you like this we have to give you a suggestion, how about you do a self check and look at your odd or find something else within the music that you might love to do and be good at.

The time we wrote these episodes we didn’t know when we going to release them so, make sure you read the description below or inbox us in the social. Thanks for tuning in we appreciate making the time to all my friends on what’s app I see you ,Makhula allow me  ULwaz is also a hip hop beat maker if you interested have worked with best of the best in SA ,so inbox us about that as well .please press the notification bell to know when we release a video ,hopefully we will have guests sometimes in our show so they would teach you guys ,Music is a practical thing ,is not  a mind thing if you not producing someone is and you are left behind.

  • 6 Bonus Point they can’t focus.

This website is based on our music real life experience so if you know one of us you might be a victim but know we will never put you in a bad light if you realize that is you just self check and improve and if it’s a compliment keep doing it. Back to the point see if you work with us you need to rise to our level we always on to something , other artists spend less than a year with us maybe because too much paying go around or something but the things that push you away  are those that make us who we are .so focus and take the pressure from your peers if they are putting the work ,take the weight or else you won’t enjoy the shine when the time comes .We can get signed today but our momentum won’t go down while we waiting for the new company budget we have our own budget and aspiration so you need to be like that ,don’t be a get around telling people oswing nghlala nabo ,that really doesn’t matter ,win with us don’t stay with us, That why when we record new music it just us no one else except the featured person .If you not going to add value to what’s we are doing you will be a destruction …

Our time is up for a day like the article we will see you on social media LnM  We out.
