Especially, after this pandemic called Covid 19.
This was a wakeup call for most people, its was especially for me seeing businesses loses billions and million’s in a matter of weeks and months. Lockdown was necessary and this can be a conspiracy theory or whatever the fact remains this showed how your business or industry fragile is. I always try to make things simple and bring it back to an individual level and most people seem to not this concept, when I ask them so what this means is for you? Others will say people will lose jobs, and then I correct them and say I said you. But let expand what im is trying to say.
- What’s does this means to your child?
We may agree that’s this will never happen again during our lifetime but this virus left clues and lesson’s your job as a parent is to read between the lines and encourage your kids to choose right industry as a career choice not just for viruses but also the technological advancement and the real things that’s will always have intrinsic value like agriculture, Shelter, Health, finance to mention the few. These industries are linked with other industries where should you suggest your kid go not saying your decision will be final but if you are paying the fees you can have a great influence and for a good cause
2. What’s was your wakeup call
This point is to remind you that’s you thought as a solution during our numbing boring lockdown is still is, don’t give up on it. Breakthroughs come in the times of hardship if you were not busy hooked on social media you had enough me time to do introspection. Again what’s does this means to you? Does it means you still going to recommend teaching to your minellium kid who is still at high school as a viable career while technology is coming so hard on that’s industry? Or send him to do something that’s will always be relevant to human survival. We know about passion’s and hobbies you may not afford to send a kid to college or he may want to do something totally unnecessary or that’s doesn’t have intrinsic value like music or sport this will only work depending on the type of parent you are. Forcing a kid to do something that’s she is not passionate about may be a huge misstep me for example I always loved music and by now I’m good at it but parental advices and working 9-5 really delayed my progress I haven’t gave up because I already have some accomplishments and I’m about to go hard and realize my dream. So the realization that’s music might not matter at some point in my life made me want to invest everything I have once and for all right now ,I’m not going to be a musician for the rest of my life but I am planning to start a business at some point. So check your wakeup call and don’t take it for granted
3. If you can be removed in your position at work would it matter?
We take jobs for monetary purposes and for a while that’s works fine but it’s shouldn’t be a norm .being worried about is it this’s I came to do in this world is a big question you should ask yourself now and again. Secondly if a robot were to be putted in my place where would I go? The trap we get ourselves into we start working with needs and we manage to cover them but then all of a sudden you create wants also known as luxuries and when you have those you cannot move forward in life .Now if you lose your source of income then fake life you have created suffer. No does what’s you do matter? Are you hard to replace? Do you have qualities most people don’t have because that’s what will make what you do valuable if you and your taste into it no matter how lame what’s you do. But still consider looking at the industries we mentioned above
4. Your industry may be your skill.
Other people have number of skills; the problem with this is you have to use these skills to make money meaning work. Here we will suggests you looking to industries that’s will free your time or the ones you are passionate about and end up not feeling like work. As we speak I never consider writing this blogs work that’s why im in bed now writing and I will always do this throughout my life. I cannot say I love writing but sharing value is what’s I love and building audience on like. One thing you should take on today’s topic is that’s you need balance in life ,between what’s you can endure and what’s you can’t but if you feel deep down you don’t love or really not enjoy your life because of your job you might consider having a exit plan. I know there will be other factors like providing your family and the pressure they will put on you. That’s where you should stand your ground and get yourself out of rat race
5. Is your industry crowded and have result ceiling?
You are a you tuber, blogger or building audiences on social media and building pages or you on twitter you promote cause you are an influence. The challenge with social media its easy to see the shine and juice others post and miss the work behind,I heard a guy said there is a lady with 30k followers and she charges R1500 to promote your product ,but since he ended up not interested she followed and ask for a collabo since this guy brand was pushing as well. You see the strategy is good but there is uncertainty involved and this lady had to come back, there is ceiling if you only big in one space not to mention if the brand you pushing don’t make sales out of your audience. The pages on face book may mean well but you may not know how to balance your time in this places you can miss where you are strong. The data you use and all the clothing and pics and quality content you put up cost money you not alone options are there so how can you differentiate yourself or this platform will keep striving because of wanna bees.
When you start a business or work you have big hopes and plans , you don’t start a corner shop with a aim to remain there or work without climbing a ladder. But if there are many corner shops already the competition will be tight so you may need to outwork ,outsmart and take more risks to reach your initial vision. Same at work you need to prove yourself that’s you deserve the position more but if everyone already have required qualification then you might need to be more than a qualified person. There are no much of empty industries but there are those important that’s people don’t pay attention to so that’s where I encourage for you to look and research.
